About Me
I'm a Geographer (Licentiate degree in Geography) from Colombia and the proud winner of the 2019 Data Visualization Contest from the Texas Department of State Health Services and The American Heart Association.
As a geographer I’m academically prepared in spatial analysis, cartography, analysis of aerial and satellite images (remote sensing), map design and 3D modelling. I’m also well prepared in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) especially ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, gvSIG and Global Mapper as well as in Google Earth and Google Maps.
My line of work and knowledge include all the areas relate to the environment (climate and meteorology, agriculture, edaphology, biogeography, geomorphology, geology, risk and vulnerability to natural hazards, among others), urban and economic geography, demography, analysis of social, economic and electoral variables, multivariate statistical techniques as well as geomarketing.
